A team of Penn DOT trucks equipped with Valk snowplows clears the roadway after a combination of snow and ice hit central Pennsylvania on Valentine's Day.

16' Runway plow model RVS1636-120PR purchased by the state of Vermont and delivered to the Morrisville airport. Pictured here with engineer George Fishel, the plow features include a built-in snowshield, 3/8" UHMW polyethylene moldboard, 120" semicircle with 5 hinge points, pneumatic caster assemblies and an ACS adapter.

When the Northeast was hit with some of the worst flooding it had seen in 
decades, Valk plows were there to help municipal trucks clear debris and power through flooded roadways. Here, a PennDOT truck equipped with a Valk XW series snowplow clears debris from a flooded road in Central Pennsylvania. This unorthodox use of Valk snowplows showcases their versatility and usefulness year-round.
